Active and Isolated Stretching: Lower Body

Registration will begin at 7:45am each day. Class on each day starts at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm with one hour for lunch (on your own) and two scheduled breaks.

Review of the basic principles of AIS theory.  Presentation and lab practice of individual AIS techniques to specific muscles of the lower body. This course is presented with a clinical emphasis that encompasses treating the general population, athletes, and children, as well as those with special needs, pain management, brain & spinal trauma, postural asymmetry, et al.

Course outline and objectives includes the following:
Review of the basic principles of AIS theory.
Presentation and lab practice of individual AIS techniques to specific muscles of the upper body.

Students are asked to bring portable massage table if possible and an 8' length of rope (for self stretching practice).
