Healing Hands Therapy for PTSD & Trauma

This course curriculum & protocol is uniquely designed modality that will educate, engage, equip & enhance any practitioners skill set when working with very specific special population clientele who are currently under the care of a Mental Health Practitioner/Doctor/Counselor or Therapist and have been clinically diagnosed with PTSD or Mental or Physical Trauma. The course is vastly different from “the norm” of what we know as Licensed Massage Therapists/Professionals and will set the a very firm foundation covering every aspect and clearly defining what PTSD & Trauma is verses the stigma attached by society and breaking the barriers of the “mental health stigma” one client at a time! This protocol is a unique fusion of dozens of modalities with real-life supporting evidence of how this protocol has achieved success over the past 5 years. Palpation exercises and situational role playing between students will enable students to work with varying scenarios and have the opportunity to learn from each other as well as have the opportunity to challenge each other with problem solving solutions and have the 1-on-1 advice from an experienced educator in this field. Students will learn (or simply refresh) themselves of “how-to” perform guided meditation and breath work exercises as well as 100% client-driven sessions to extensive Intake procedures and form, and at the conclusion of the class students will be given the necessary information of local & national resources if they or their clients are ever in a Crisis Situation.
