It is an amazing gift to bring peace and enjoyment to a person undergoing cancer treatment or in hospice care. As a massage therapist, you have this power; you just need the skills and knowledge taught in this course. For example, you will learn exactly how cancer affects patients, and how massage can benefit them during this time. You will also practice appropriate massage techniques and their applications, and learn the communication skills and professional boundaries required to build a trusted client relationship.
Your instructor brings a lighter heart to a heavy topic with his humor and entertaining teaching style, while drawing from his vast experience over 30 years of working with hospice patients, and a lifetime of experience dealing with the many effects of cancer. You can expect to think, laugh, share, and grow personally and professionally, all while expanding your skill set to serve a deserving population.

Students should bring a massage table and bolster, and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.
