About the Presenter
Margaret-Ann Camo, PhD, MBA, MJ, PNP-AC/PC, ATSF, FAAN, has over 25 years of experience in pediatric nursing. She has worked at the bedside in acute and critical care pediatrics and as a primary care PNP. She is nationally certified as a primary care PNP and maintains her RN and NP license in New York State. Dr. Carno has taught both clinical and didactic content in pediatric nursing and is a frequent guest lecturer related to pediatric issues at undergraduate and graduate levels. She has reviewed pediatrics and medical surgical nursing texts and has authored two textbooks. She also has a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's in Jurisprudence, which she uses to teach ethics and public policy for undergraduate and graduate classes. Dr. Carno has a Ph.D. in nursing and is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
