This self-paced, 40 contact hour online course presents the breadth and depth of didactic content to provide the required knowledge needed to become a SANE, with a focus on adults and adolescents. The scope of content runs the gamut from what is a SANE examiner to how to conduct a SANE examination to evidence collection to testifying in court.

The course is organized into 12 modules with a total of 36 lessons, including lecture videos, activities, reading assignments, and references. Each module concludes with a practice quiz. The course also includes online includes interactive flashcards to help you review what you have learned in each lesson and test banks for each module to help you assess your knowledge prior to completing a comprehensive final examination. A full-color print workbook to use in conjunction with the online course is included as well. Upon opening and starting the course, you will have six (6) months to complete it and take the final examination, which must be passed with a minimum score of 70%.
