About the Course:
This course provides information about the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. In addition, it presents Chapter 315, Controlled Substances, of the Texas Administrative Code, Title 22; Part 15. Chapter 315 pertains to the prescribing, dispensing, as well as the pharmacy responsibilities legislated with controlled substances, and directly pertains to the pharmacy professional.

After completing this course, the learner will be able to:

- Summarize the specifications within the recently updated Texas Administrative Code’s Chapter 315, Controlled Substances.
- Explain the unique specifications that pertain to prescriptions that are for Schedule II-V drugs.
- Explain the unique specifications when receiving a prescription electronically.
