About the Course:
This course is intended to increase the knowledge of pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. An understanding of MTM is essential for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals working in direct patient care to help further improve patient outcomes.

Teresa E. Roane, PharmD, MBA, BCACP, is the associate director of the Center for Quality Medication Management (CQM) as well the director of the online MTM graduate programs and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida (UF) College of Pharmacy. The CQM is a nationally recognized medication therapy management and performance measure service provider. CQM provides telephonic-based services within an academic institution. CQM also focuses on training the next generation of pharmacists by serving as a clinical rotation site for fourth-year student pharmacists and postgraduate pharmacy residents. Dr. Roane has been intimately involved with MTM since its inception in 2006. Since joining UF, Dr. Roane has been responsible for all aspects of the CQM, has served as the residency program director at CQM, and teaches multiple courses within the curriculum that focus on MTM, effective communication, performance measures, negotiating contracts, and immunizations.

- A minimum test score of 75 percent is needed to obtain a credit.
