- Discuss the appropriate role of physicians in managing patients in hospice programs.
- Describe the advantages and the disadvantages of opioid pain medications in the context of end-of-life pain management.
- Employ both non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic therapies to treat common symptoms associated with the end of life.
