About the Course:
The purpose of this course is to provide a historical context of race and racism and its relationship to the development of racial implicit bias. The development of implicit bias will be discussed along with research demonstrating the impact of implicit bias on the clinical encounter. Recommendations for mitigating implicit bias are offered.

This course is designed for all physicians and health care providers involved in the treatment and monitoring of patients prescribed controlled substances.
About the Course:
The purpose of this course is to educate health care providers about the requirements of the Controlled Substances Act and safe prescribing practices for both opioid and non-opioid controlled substances.
