About the Course
The purpose of this activity is to provide clinicians with the strategies for identifying, assessing and responding to patients who may be current or past victims of human trafficking. This course details venues for human trafficking, techniques for identifying potential trafficked persons, and resources their assistance.

Learning Objectives
Completion of this course will better enable the course participant to:
  • Describe the types and venues of human trafficking in the United States
  • Discuss communication strategies to assist with identification of trafficked persons
  • Discuss the importance of safety planning and protocolsIdentify resources for assistance of suspected victims of human trafficking
