Abbie Schmitt

Abbie began her nursing journey at the Presbyterian School of Nursing in Charlotte, NC, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in 2007. Her passion for learning and helping others led her to further her education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2012, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Nursing Education in 2019.
Abbie has worked in various nursing capacities including internal medicine, inpatient rehabilitation, cardiology, emergency medicine, humanitarian relief, and telephonic triage. She also cherishes the opportunity she has had to share her knowledge and experience with aspiring nurses as an instructor within the community college environment.
