Gina Stango
Gina Stango is an occupational therapist in the Austin, TX area. Gina’s preferred areas of practice are neurorehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, home assessments, contracture management and sensory integration. She also has extensive experience providing customized seating, positioning, and mobility interventions. She developed and started a rehabilitation department for a durable medical equipment company in 1999 and ran operations as the clinical director for 7 years. She now has her certification as an assistive technology practitioner and has started her own business providing specialized wheelchairs throughout her community. She has over 23 years of experience in occupational therapy practice and has worked with many populations including geriatric, pediatrics, and adults. Her passion is to continue learning in order to provide better services to the clients she is honored to serve. Currently, she is enrolled in the occupational therapy doctoral program at Texas Woman’s University and plans to graduate in May 2019. In the program, Gina hopes to gain knowledge in research in order to support the occupational therapy profession in the future. She holds very highly the ethical dedication necessary to advocate for people in need and is committed to the highest standards for quality of care.
