Looking back over the last several title releases for our 2015 salary survey results (from CFO to CEO), we can see where the value has been placed. The C-suite has had to increase their metrics for patient experience and satisfaction, population health management, information governance, reducing readmissions and several other key issues in the pursuit of bettering healthcare.
Through all this, one clear need for improving healthcare is that of leaders with stellar abilities: individuals with vision, the ability to adapt to evolving healthcare and a desire to add to the gold standard of care. These are the individuals who reaped the numbers.
