Denis Tucker has been named chief information officer at Commonwealth Health.
In this capacity, Tucker will lead the management information systems department for the network which includes six hospitals and numerous physician offices, clinics and diagnostic centers, according to a press release from Commonwealth Health.
Tucker has 30 years of experience in the healthcare information technology field, having worked for Main Line Health and Riddle Hospital in suburban Philadelphia, where he served as director of technology and chief information officer. He is a member of the Healthcare Information Management Executives and a board member of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union in Broomall.
Commonwealth Health includes 1,600 physicians, 6,500 employees and more than 1,300 beds in Northeast Pennsylvania.
