Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. announced the appointment of Patrick Gavin as CEO of Crozer-Keystone Health System. Gavin, Crozer-Keystone’s current COO and executive vice president, will replace Joan Richards, the system’s longtime president and CEO, who is retiring effective July 31.
Prospect completed its acquisition of Crozer-Keystone Health System on July 1 after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals.
Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc., owns and operates 18 hospitals, as well as over 40 clinics and outpatient centers. Prospect also manages the provision of healthcare services for more than 300,000 members enrolled in its networks of nearly 10,000 primary care physicians and specialists. Prospect’s operations are located in diverse, high-density population areas in California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas.
Crozer-Keystone Health System, based in Springfield, Pa., consists of Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland; Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill; Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park; Springfield Hospital in Springfield and Community Hospital in Chester.
