Adverse events are system-wide challenges that are currently being addressed by all providers in all settings. A key element in preventing these adverse events is early detection and timely intervention. Additional important safety issues among hospitalized patients include hospital acquired pressure ulcers. The webinar will discuss the importance of timely recognition of clinical deterioration on the Medical Surgical Floor, and describe the importance of continuous monitoring, strategies for implementation, and the evidence supporting its benefits.
