The 2016 NASCI Annual Course offers a variety of engaging session formats such as roundtables, abstract presentations, and case-based reviews, providing attendees with expert insight and perspectives on protocols, clinical research, and hot topics in the Cardiovascular Imaging field.
This year’s keynote speaker is David C. Levin, MD, professor and chairman emeritus of the department of radiology at Jefferson Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Levin will present “Trends in Utilization of Cardiac Imaging: The Coronary CTA Conundrum.”

West Virginia Society of Radiologic Technologists Annual Conference

WVSRT plans to offer a diverse program covering some of the most up-to-date topics in medical imaging today with an impressive faculty representing physicians, educators and imaging technologists providing the educational offerings.
American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Continuing Education credit has been requested for all lecture presentations. Participants may earn 17 credits for full conference attendance. ASRT CE may be used to fulfill mandatory education requirements for medical imaging professionals in other modalities.
The 16th Annual Emergency Radiology Symposium

Acutely ill adults and pediatric patients are arriving at the emergency room in greater numbers than ever before. Hosted by Baptist Health South Florida, this symposium is designed to help radiologists and emergency radiologists maintain optimal competence in the utilization of the most reliable imaging modalities and best-practice strategies, even for unusual conditions. One-third of the lectures will be dedicated to plain films and the remainder will stress state-of-the-art emergency imaging of the central nervous system, chest, abdomen and coronary and musculoskeletal systems. This course will be of special interest to physicians in the fields of radiology, emergency radiology and emergency medicine.

35th Annual Head to Toe Imaging Conference

The 35th Annual “Morton A. Bosniak Head to Toe Imaging Conference” offers an intensive 5-day program reviewing Neurologic, Musculoskeletal, Pediatric, Abdominal, Thoracic, Cardiac, Breast, Emergency, PET/CT and Interventional Radiology. Its continued focus on safety and quality issues, including radiation exposure and contrast reactions and their management, crosses all sub specialty areas.
Due to tremendous growth in the science of imaging and practice of radiology, it is imperative that radiologists continually update their skills and gain exposure to advances in the field. Maintenance of certification requires continued review and adoption of essential and cutting-edge imaging techniques in all modalities, covering the entire body. The event offers daily Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs) with SAMs credit in key areas with recent clinical advances.
This year’s program offers daily “read with the experts” workshops, where faculty in each modality guide registrants, real-time, through interpretation of both classic and challenging cases directly from PACs.
The program is designed for clinical radiologists in either general or specialized practice, and is appropriate for radiologists in training. Familiarity with the fundamentals of CT, MR, PET, and US technology and applications, as well as basic anatomy, is assumed.
