Your instructor brings a lighter heart to a heavy topic with his humor and entertaining teaching style, all while drawing from his vast experience – over 30 years of working with hospice patients, and a lifetime of experience dealing with the many effects of cancer. The world of massage welcomed Ben in 1979, and in the past four decades he has provided therapy across the spectrum, from newborns less than an hour old to professional football linemen. He is unabashedly excited about his profession and “brings it” every day to his patients and his students. As an instructor Ben blends humor, a gift for analogy, and critical Socratic thinking skills to engage his students.

Materials: Students should bring a massage table and bolster, and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. Bringing your own lunch is optional.
