Annual conference, other big events planned for April
The AOTA has designated April as National Occupational Therapy Month to bring attention to the pivotal role that OTs play in the health and wellbeing of patients. The association has planned its largest event for this month to celebrate the profession.
From April 19–22, the 2018 AOTA Annual Conference & Exposition will take place in Salt Lake City, UT. Featuring over 1,200 presentations and some 3,000 speakers, OTs from around the nation—and the world—will converge on Utah’s capital to make connections, learn about new products, and earn up to 24 contact hours.
Educational sessions, student exhibits, and other features highlight the itinerary. To register or learn more about the event, visit AOTA’s website.
Additionally, the Association urges all occupational therapists to celebrate OT Month by spreading the word about the profession and promoting all the things that makes OTs some of health care’s most valuable professionals.
