Acclaimed clinician and speaker Robert McCabe presents this dynamic 2-day comprehensive shoulder rehab course designed to enhance your knowledge of cutting-edge assessment and treatment options. Learn multiple assessments to help you more accurately uncover the cause of the patient’s diagnosis in order to provide more targeted and effective treatment. Through interactive labs, explore proper progressions and regressions of corrective exercises. Hands-on practice with Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization will give you a strong foundation to utilize tools to enhance shoulder therapy. Instructor
Bob McCabe, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, CSCS, FDN
Bob has 25 years of clinical experience in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He is currently the director of the Human Performance Optimization Program for the 103rd Rescue Squadron in Westhampton, NY. His prior experience includes working in hospital-based and outpatient private practice facilities. He has extensive experience in the treatment of patients with orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including recreational, elite and professional athletes. He previously worked at the renowned Andrews Institute, where he worked under Dr. James Andrews. Bob received his transitional doctorate degree in physical therapy from Arcadia University, a master’s degree in physical therapy from Long Island University and a master’s degree in Ergonomics and Biomechanics from New York University. Bob is an NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist (C.S.C.S) and an APTA Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (O.C.S). He is certified in the Functional Movement Screen (F.M.S) and the Selective Functional Movement Screes (S.F.M.A). Bob received his manual therapy certification through Evidence in Motion program and is certified in functional dry needling through Kinetacore. He has advanced training and coursework in Graston instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilizations, Active Release Technique and the McKenzie Method to Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). He has ten years of experience in teaching live seminars/webinars for several professional education companies. Bob has published several research studies in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences.
