Synopsis: Paul Valentine and Larry Epstein, MD, will present how the sleep testing industry has changed, the types of home sleep testing devices available and how the identification and screening process of patients takes place. Also covered will be working with insurers to get preauthorization for appropriate testing, and the strategies that their centers have implemented for managing the volume of patients tested. Discussion will also include improving sleep center efficiency with portable sleep testing and the role of Home Sleep Testing in partnerships such as corporate wellness programs and occupational health programs.
