Researchers increasingly are interested in reaching the small airways with fine-particle inhaled corticosteroids to help reduce inflammation associated with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. But the question over whether these drugs are better than larger-particle aerosols remains unanswered. Objectives for the web presentation are to:

- Contrast relevance of small airways’ function in asthma and COPD
