About the Course:
This is an intermediate-level course geared toward respiratory therapists and all healthcare professionals who care for individuals with asthma. Up-to-date information regarding the definition of asthma, its pathology and interventions are provided.

About the Authors:
Traci Marin, PhD, MPH, RRT, RPGST, is an assistant research professor and program director for the Department of Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Schools of Allied Health and Medicine at Loma Linda University. She is also an adjunct researcher and advisor at the Department of Medicine at John Shyy Lab at the University of California, San Diego as well as the founder of Tranquility Community Health. Traci received her doctoral degree from the University of California, Riverside in biochemistry and molecular biology and her Bachelor of Science degree from Loma Linda University in emergency medical care.

Kenneth Miller MEd, MSRT RRT-NPS, ACCS, AC-E FAARC has worked in respiratory care for the past forty-five years. He has been responsible for the clinical management of patients receiving non-invasive and invasive ventilation. He has worked as a staff ICU respiratory therapist, clinical coordinator and the past twenty-five years as the clinical educator and research coordinator of respiratory care services. Ken has lectured at the local, regional, and national levels and has authored a number of peer journal and textbook articles. Ken was recently awarded fellowship status in the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)
