About the Author
Virginia Holmgren, BSN, RN, BSRC, RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS, is a critical care registered nurse and registered respiratory therapist in Boise, Idaho. Her pulmonary rehabilitation background includes COPD education and clinical practice spanning all ages from neonatal to geriatrics. She has more than 10 years of pulmonary experience and has held numerous positions including clinical preceptor at Boise State University and critical care transport for the U.S. Air Force.
