About the Course
The purpose of this course is to give a detailed overview of the myriad of tools available to today’s estheticians. Today’s clientele expects their skincare expert to be up-to-date on the newest and best treatments. Equipment is expensive; trying to prioritize what to invest in immediately and what can wait can be a daunting experience. This unit defines what each piece of equipment does and evaluates the cost comparisons of multiuse equipment vs. single use equipment. This course will take the fear out of assembling the best combination of tools to generate income for any esthetician. The student will be able to define what each tool is for, review and compare the different combinations, and be able to come to an informed decision in order to budget for and create the optimal combination of equipment to yield the highest return for their practice

- Discuss the available models in each category; analyze each unit’s pros and cons.
- Calculate the expected income generated vs. the initial cost of each unit.
- Compile a wish list of equipment, including cost outlay.
- Prioritize which equipment will add the most value to their practice.
- Formulate a plan of action to assemble the best combination of tools for their practice.
