Skin Cancer Guide for Salon Professionals

About the Course
Become knowledgeable about skin cancer to better serve your clients in their health and wellness. Update your knowledge on the signs of pre-cancerous lesions, the most common skin cancers, and rare types of skin cancer your clients may experience. Cosmetologists often see areas of skin, hair, and nails that clients seldom do, allowing you to improve detection of suspicious changes that could lead to skin cancer. The purpose of this course is to familiarize cosmetologists with the various types of skin cancer and how to encourage clients to seek medical attention when suspicious skin changes are found.
