About the Course
Headaches can be warning signs of underlying life-threatening conditions, however most are harmless and respond to basic treatments. Massage therapy has grown in acceptance as a viable treatment option, and more physicians have been suggesting it.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to:
- Recall the criteria for each headache type.
- Identify the major muscles indicated in headache pain.
- Employ the appropriate assessments during the intake process.
- Apply unstructured conversation techniques to the intake process.
- Formulate a treatment plan.
- Recognize the warning signs of an underlying life-threatening condition.
