Structural Tensegrity: Advanced Concepts for Deep Tissue & Structural Massage
Lakewood, NJ October 17-18, 2026
"Tensegrity" is the principle of structural integrity created by isolated components under a network of compression, where all elements are suspended or float within a spatial volume. The body is a great example, as bones are held within the compression of a fascial web/connective tissues. This course will review the process of body reading and compare ideal physical alignment and structures (or injuries) to hone therapeutic skills and abilities. Working more efficiently with gentle Deep Tissue techniques can enhance therapeutic outcomes both locally and systemically.
This course will help uncover the multifaceted and multivalent process of working with 'Deep Tissue' that reveals a somatic roadmap for neuromuscular efficiency, gently revealing patterns of underlying tension, dysfunction, compensation, injury, or trauma. Clarity of process and therapeutic focus creates efficiency and efficacy in hands-on work. 'Seeing' clearly within the topographical landscape of the human body allows for an integrated outcome of physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic integration.
