Essential Oils and Aromatherapy
Course Overview
Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy that utilizes essential oils (highly concentrated, volatile aromatic compounds extracted from plants) to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It typically involves the use of essential oils through methods such as inhalation, topical application, and occasionally oral ingestion. The primary goals of aromatherapy include stress management, pain relief, mood enhancement, and relaxation. As a simple and cost-effective approach, aromatherapy is a valuable tool in integrative healthcare and can safely complement and enhance conventional treatment methods for patients.
