About the Course
The student will be able to analyze all of the factors that led to the problem, assess which color correction procedure would be the best for each individual situation, and utilize color theory in order to choose the most flattering shade of hair color for each client.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to:
- Restate the top five causes of hair color disasters and list five methods for correction.
- Identify the principals of color theory and relate them to hair color; list at least three examples citing the correct shade per each skin tone and eye color.
- List seven types of hair conditions and structures; discuss how they affect color correcting procedures.
- List ten types of coloring techniques; cite the mistakes colorists make for each one.
