The foundation for movement and gravity begins with our connection to Mother Earth. The configuration of the lower kinetic chain supports human locomotion and stillness, leading to balance and harmony for the sacrum. Optimal alignment within the lower kinetic chain brings these elements together with synergy into the pelvis, ultimately supporting the spinal column.
This course reviews the optimal placement and mechanisms for the lower kinetic chain leading to freedom and power of movement. Articulation and action go hand in hand with A&P structures so we can move with freedom and fluidity. The lower kinetic chain is the primary structural foundation for human locomotion and movement. Structural integrity is created with isolated components working within synergy to create movement and structure. Understanding how the lower kinetic chain is connected to the core will help create more effective therapeutic work and positive client outcomes. This course is divided into primary structural components to help provide an in-depth overview of this dynamic work. The class has integrated and overlapping techniques to provide a deep, comprehensive, multifaceted landscape of advanced therapeutic bodywork.
