About the Course
This comprehensive course is designed to provide New Jersey massage professionals with a thorough understanding of the laws and regulations governing their practice. Participants will explore key legal aspects relevant to the massage therapy profession in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with state regulations and promoting ethical practice. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the legal landscape of massage therapy practice in New Jersey confidently. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the tools to ensure legal compliance, uphold ethical standards, and provide safe, effective, and professional massage therapy services.

Learning Outcomes
Upon the completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Define massage and bodywork scope of practice according to the state of New Jersey.  
  • List responsibilities for reporting employment changes.
  • Review renewal procedures and deadlines.  
  • List the board fees for applications, renewals, and other licensing procedures.

About the Author/Presenter
Jim Menz MS, CES, began his career in health and wellness in 1992. Since then, he has worked with a spectrum of clients in community, athletic, and rehabilitative settings. He has extensive experience in the practice of corrective exercise and bodywork. Jim is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, a corrective exercise specialist, and holds a master’s degree in exercise science and a postgraduate certificate in rehabilitative science.  
 
 How to Receive Credit 

  • Read the entire course either online or in print, which requires a 1-hour commitment of time.
  • After completion of the course, complete the final examination. A passing grade of 75% is required. Test questions link content to learning outcomes as a method to enhance individualized learning and material retention. 
  • Provide required personal information and payment information.
  • Complete the mandatory course evaluation.
  • Print your Certificate of Completion.
