About the Author:
Rhonda Collins, DNP, RN, FAAN has a 35-year nursing career, which began in Labor and Delivery, caring for high-risk mothers and their babies. She transitioned into leadership roles in various hospitals in Texas after a decade of direct patient care and joined Cardinal Health/ALARIS Medical Systems in San Diego in 2003, focusing on medication safety and business development for nearly a decade.? Rhonda Collins has held positions as Vice President of Nursing at Masimo Corporation and Vice President and Business Manager for Fresenius Kabi, USA, LLC, managing medical device launch, and co-founded The American Nurse Project in 2012, dedicated to showcasing nurses' stories across the country.? Rhonda Collins currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer for in NYC, focusing on using technology to improve patient care and nurse safety.
