Here's what you need to renew your Tennessee Occupational Therapy license

  • AOTA Code of Ethics- 1 hour
  • Documentation - 2 hours
  • Suicide Prevention Training - 2 Hours
  • One (1) hour of the required twenty-four (24) continued competence credits shall pertain to the occupational therapy portions of T.C.A. ยงยง 63-13-101, et seq., the Tennessee Occupational and Physical Therapy Practice Act, and shall pertain to Chapter 1150-02, General Rules Governing the Practice of Occupational Therapy.

New rule changes included a change in DUE DATE for CEU's. CEU's are now due by the last day of the month that precedes the licensee birth month (renewal month). For example, someone with a birthday of June 15, 1998 would have renewed last month.
Beginning:
June 1, 2022 - May 31, 2024- (24) hrs of CEU's due
June 1, 2024 - May 31, 2026- (24) hrs of CEU's due
and so on.
