About the Course
This course will focus on those executive functions skills that are of particular importance to parents as they oversee the responsibilities of home life and manage those “hot spots. The executive functions of: planning/prioritizing, organization, time management and emotional control. This course offers a wide variety of strategies to help adults overcome such difficulties and function more effectively.

About the Author
Adina Soclof, a certified Speech Pathologist, received her master’s degree from Hunter College in New York in Communication Sciences. Adina worked as a Speech Pathologist in preschools for the developmentally disabled in the New York area before staying home full time with her family. Adina reentered the workforce as a Parent Educator for Bellefaire Jewish Children’s Bureau facilitating “How to Talk so Kids will Listen and Listen so Kids will Talk” workshops as well as workshops based on “Siblings Without Rivalry” and “Raising a Spirited Child”. She has been featured at numerous nonprofit organizations and private schools in Cleveland. Adina developed TEAM Communication Ventures and conducts parenting, teacher and clinician workshops via telephone nationwide.
How to Receive Credit
Colibri Healthcare, LLC implemented mechanisms prior to the planning and implementation of the continuing education activity, to identify and resolve conflicts of interest for all individuals in a position to control content of the course activity.

- Answer the final examination questions at the end of the course. A passing grade of 70% is required. Test questions link content to learning objectives as a method to enhance individualized learning and material retention.
