Direct Access and Renewal Timing Change
Delaware Chapter 246 (SB 110), effective April 23, 2026, extends the direct-access treatment period (treating patients without a physician referral) from 30 to 90 days. The law also removes the fixed January 1 biennial expiration date; renewal timing will be set by the Division/Board through rulemaking, but the license will continue to renew biennially contingent on attestation that CE has been completed.
