Preventing Workplace Sexual Harassment for Health Care Professionals
About the Course
Sexual harassment in the workplace is a prevalent problem in the U.S. Compounding the problem is the fact that many cases of harassment go wither unreported or are not addressed in an appropriate way. The lack of workplace support is one reason for the failure to report sexual harassment. Anyone can be sexually harassed regardless of sex, gender identification, or age. Both men and women can be targets of sexual harassment, and it can be peer against peer, supervisor against employee, and even subordinate against supervisor (Enright, 2020.) This education program is designed to help healthcare professionals learn how to prevent and/or deal with sexual harassment and how to report instances of sexual harassment. .
