Mandatory Subjects:
  • First renewal period requirement: 2 hours Mental Health Conditions Common to Veterans and Family Members of Veterans including, determining whether a patient is a veteran or family member of a veteran, screening for conditions such as PTSD, risk of suicide, depression and grief, and suicide prevention training. 
  • Yearly: 1 hour Cultural Competency
  • Every 6 years:  2 hours Mental Health Conditions Common to Veteransand Family Members of Veterans (every six years)including, determining whether a patient is a veteran orfamily member of a veteran, screening for conditions suchas PTSD, risk of suicide, depression and grief, and suicideprevention training. 

Online Limitations

Licensees can take up to 10 continuing education clock hours per year online.
