Here's what you need to renew your Kentucky Behavioral Health : Social Worker license

CSW/LCSW - 30 Hours
LSW - 15 Hours

Mandatory Subjects:
  • 3 Hours (Following initial licensure) Domestic Violence Training (one-time requirement).
  • 3 Hours Ethics (Must be board approved, our Ethics course is not KY Board Approved) every renewal period taken online or in-person.
  • 1.5 Hours of Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma (every six years) taken online or in-person.
  • 6 Hours of Suicide Prevention Training (every six years) taken online or in-person.
  • 3 Hours of a board approved supervision course every renewal period.

Online Limitations

Only 50% may be completed online or by correspondence.
