Requirements for Renewing Your Florida LPN License

Florida LPN license renewal requirements

IMPORTANT! The next group renewal deadline for Florida LPNs is July 31, 2025. Failing to renew on time may result in penalties or restrictions on your practice.  

Florida RN continuing education requirements

Special note for DEA-registered APRNs  

If you’re registered with the DEA to prescribe controlled substances, you must complete an additional 8-hour course on managing and treating opioid or substance abuse disorders.
