What do I need to renew my LVN/LPN license in Georgia?  

LVN/LPNs in Georgia must complete twenty (20) hours of approved CE every two years. There are no mandatory courses required for renewal. The next upcoming renewal date for LVN/LPNs in Georgia is March 31, 2025. 

What do I need to renew my RN license in Georgia?   

RNs in Georgia must complete thirty (30) hours of approved CE every two years. There are no mandatory courses required for renewal. The next upcoming renewal date for RNs in Georgia is January 31, 2025.

What do I need to renew my APN license in Georgia? 

APNs in Georgia must complete thirty (30) hours of approved CE every two years. There are no mandatory courses required for renewal. APNs only need to show evidence of National Certification. The next upcoming renewal date for APNs in Georgia is January 31, 2025. 

NEW! DEA MATE Act requirements for Georgia APNs  

Beginning with DEA initial registrations or renewals starting June 27, 2023, all DEA-registered practitioners (with the exception of DVM-only license holders) must complete 8 hours of one-time training on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.
