For Immediate Release
Port Washington, NY – March 22, 2019
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare introduced the improved Trapeze to its Patient Room product line today.
Designed to help patients safely re-position when in bed and facilitate self-transfers, the new Trapeze offers an improved clamp design that provides a secure and long-lasting grip for enhanced stability and positioning. The clamp includes a rubber bumper guard to protect walls. The 13009TRAPBV package comes with a Trapeze, bar and clamps.
“Drive is continuously looking for ways to improve our products without adding cost,” said Joe Oberle, Director, Product Management – Homecare Beds & Patient Room. “The new trapeze offers an improved clamp design that is simple to use and provides a more secure grip on the trapeze itself to help ensure desired position is maintained.”
The Trapeze easily mounts without tools to metal frame headboards and steel framed floor stands. Capable of supporting users weighing up to 250 lbs., the Trapeze features heavy-gauge, two-piece square steel tubing for maximum support. Other features include easy-to-adjust Trapeze height and hand bar extension, and brown-vein finish. The Trapeze meets requirements for HCPCS code E0910.
