Rob Bush, president and co-founder of Orchard Software, announced the promotion of Curt Johnson to a newly created position in the Orchard Software organization. Curt Johnson, previously vice president of sales and marketing, has accepted the responsibilities of chief operating officer (COO) as of March 1st, 2011. This change will allow Mr. Bush to focus more on product development and pass the operational duties on to Mr. Johnson.
In his new role, Mr. Johnson will focus on coordination and efficiencies between departments to ensure that Orchard’s growth is focused and meeting the needs of Orchard customers. Jeffrey Kain, Orchard’s executive vice president and co-founder, along with Mr. Bush and a development group, will focus their attention on new features and products.
