Care Communications Inc., a national HIM consulting and outsourcing firm, has received the Elite Award for “Recruitment, Selection and Orientation” from the National Association for Business Resources, one of just 12 elite awards given out as part of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For 2012 annual awards competition. This marks the fifth consecutive year Care Communications has received an elite award as part of the annual competition.
“As a service business that provides critically important health information services to healthcare providers and research organizations, attracting and selecting the very best people in the industry to work with our clients is crucial to our vision of a living company committed to improving patient care through better data quality,” said Leslie Fox, chief executive officer at Care Communications. “We have a passion at CARE for inspiring our clients to tackle their toughest data quality challenges, and it is through the collaborative work of the entire team that we are able to exercise that passion year in and year out.”
The “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” program is presented annually in three markets: Metro Detroit, Western Michigan and Chicago. The other Chicago companies honored with elite awards in 2012 include Radio Flyer, Verizon Wireless, Ernst & Young LLP, Hitachi Consulting, Assurance, FONA International, Inc., Donlen Corporation, Greeley and Hansen LLC, Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc., BGT Partners and VW Credit Inc.
The Chicago competition received thousands of entries. An independent research firm evaluated each company’s entry, selected Elite winners based on their overall high scores and then named each Elite winner in their highest performing category. The Elite award in the Recruitment and Selection category recognizes exemplary recruitment methods and selection processes to screen and select people who best fit the organization.
