Care Communications Inc. Named an Elite Award Winner

Care Communications Inc., (CARE) a national health information management consulting and outsourcing firm, has received the Elite Award for “Work-Life Balance” from the National Association for Business Resources, one of twelve elite awards presented as part of “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” 2013 awards competition. This marks the sixth consecutive year Care Communications has received an Elite Award in the competition.

“Care Communications was founded on the principle of work and life balance, and this has helped shape CARE’s culture for the past 37 years. Employees are encouraged to balance work and personal life by enjoying each more fully. It is important to me that employees are able to focus their time and energies on the things that are most important to them,” said Leslie Fox, MA, RHIA, FAHIMA, chief executive officer and cofounder of Care Communications Inc. “We have a passion for helping clients solve their most pressing health information management and data quality challenges. We are equally passionate about being fully present with our families and living healthy lives in balance.”

The “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” program is presented annually in three markets: Metro Detroit, Western Michigan and Chicago. The other Chicago area companies honored with Elite Awards this year include Capital One Financial; Fusion OEM; WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone; Omron Automation and Safety; FONA International; VW Credit Inc.; Assurance; EY; LaSalle Network; Greely and Hansen and Arrow Strategies LLC.

The Chicago competition received thousands of entries. An independent research firm evaluated each company’s entry, selected elite winners based on their overall high scores and then named each winner in their highest performing category. The Elite Award in the Work-Life Balance category recognizes exemplary practices in allowing employees the flexibility to meet the demands of their professional and personal lives.
