iMedX Inc., a leading healthcare software and services company, announced that it has completed the acquisition of the medical transcription assets from Florida-based Electronic Medical Transcription Services Inc. (eMTS).
With this acquisition, iMedX adds eMTS’ many major hospitals and surgery centers nationwide to its customer base. eMTS’ customers will have access to iMedX’s cloud-based healthcare information solutions – TurboFlow transcription management platform, TurboScribe document management, and TurboRx electronic prescribing.
Venkat Sharma, iMedX’s President and CEO, along with the current iMedX management team, will lead the combined companies. eMTS’ current production and customer service team will continue to support and grow its customer base as eMTS’s customers are integrated into iMedX.
